Since 1987, Robert Breda has owned and operated APR Detailed Joinery Pty Ltd, a producer of exclusive corporate and residential furnishings. The company has become best known for its manufacture of boardroom, meeting, dining, coffee and occasional tables. Mr. Breda works to preserve the stellar reputation of the company, which is also renowned for its production of custom-made credenzas and freestanding office furnishings, lecterns, mobile and lateral file, audiovisual, shelving and library units, and more. Mr. Breda is currently focused on further establishing APR Detailed Joinery’s name in the areas of commercial manufacturing, residential marketing, prototype consulting, furniture case fits, design concept manufacturing, and polishing. He is especially excited about expanding his company’s reach in the residential market.

A timber veneer expert, Mr. Breda was the first joiner to be granted membership to the Timber Veneer Association of Australia. He is often called upon to present at industry events, such as the Australian Institute of Architect’s Wood Solutions Timber Interior Seminar in November 2014. In 2013, his company was nominated in four divisions in the Timber Development Association’s Australian Timber Design Awards. These divisions included Excellence in Furniture & Joinery, Excellence in Timber Veneers, Excellence in Office Fitout Featuring Veneers, and Excellence in Interior Fitout Residential.
