Jim Kay, CEO of Alternative Home Health Care Connection, Inc., is a graduate of Concord Nursing School who holds a degree in social services and accounting from Arizona State University. After spending the first 10 years of his career in the accounting department at Ford Motor Company, he decided that he desired a profession in which he could more directly help others. Thus, he relocated to Denver and began working in a nursing home. Between 1989 and 1993, he and his partner, Linda, began formulating a business plan to establish their own agency. Their goal is for Alternative Home Health Care Connection, Inc. to be recognized as a premier agency that takes care of those who may have otherwise ‘fallen through the gap’ of the health care industry.
