Per Schaanning possesses more than 35 years of professional experience, during which time he has honed his expertise in maritime operations, marine engineering, shipbuilding, international trade, and supply chain management. He has also cultivated his skills in sales and marketing. In December 2002, Mr. Schaanning applied his experience and talents to establish Trustper AS. The company has since formed a stellar reputation for steel preservation and basic maintenance for seawater ballast tanks and ocean vessels. The company’s core product is Coatscale Remover, also known as CSR, which works to fight corrosion in ballast tanks. Trustper has developed an effective patent-pending process for applying this environmentally friendly product.
Prior to overseeing all aspects of Trustper AS, Mr. Schaanning served as general manager of Unitor Ships Service. He oversaw the company’s sales and agent activity for Australia and New Zealand, and also stabled and developed Unitor’s sales office in Taiwan. He previously worked as a sales manager for Drew Marine for more than 15 years. Mr. Schaanning was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding in recognition of his professional excellence. He intends to grow his business internationally in the coming years, first focusing on the Norwegian market.
