After retiring from a successful 45-year career working for companies such as IBM and the Lockheed Martin Corporation, Thelma Mae Glowacki decided to turn her hobby into a business. She is the founder, owner and operator of Say it in Stitches!, through which she offers customized embroidery, monogramming and heat transfers for various types of apparel and projects. Ms. Glowacki is noted for her attention to detail and excellent customer service. She offers her services and products online through her company’s Facebook page. Ms. Glowacki also attends events such as the Horse World Expo in Timonium, Md. Her booth at such events features custom embroidery for clothing, show bags, saddlepads, and more, for pony clubs, teams and barns.
In recognition of her exceptional work ethic, Ms. Glowacki has been named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding, a Top Female Executive, and an Elite American Business Owner. She is also a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of the USA and a recipient of the organization’s Thanks Badge for 10 Years of Dedication Above and Beyond a Troop Leader. Additionally, Ms. Glowacki maintains memberships with the American Camaro Association, Inc. and the Maryland Camaro Club.
