Well-known for her 33 years of invaluable contributions to the multimedia field, Andrea Cummis has attained much knowledge in the areas of engineering, operations and technology. To date, she has worked with many broadcasting and media companies, and has consulted on numerous issues, including new technology, system design, organizational structure, workflow, standard operating procedures, and startup planning. Currently, she serves as the managing partner of her full-service systems-integration and video-production company, AC Video Solutions.
Ms. Cummis holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and an executive JD in law and technology from Concord Law School. A certified television operator and broadcast technician, she was the first woman to become an officer of the Society of Broadcast Engineers’ national board. Presently, Ms. Cummis serves as the treasurer of the national board, as well as the secretary of Chapter 15 of the organization. Additionally, she is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, the International Women’s Leadership Association and the NJ Association of Women Business Owners. Truly committed to her field, Ms. Cummis also serves on the board of directors for Family Radio in New Jersey.
