M. Jackson “Jack” Nichols

Jack NicholsM. Jackson “Jack” Nichols has been successfully practicing law for nearly four decades. He was inspired by John F. Kennedy at the young age of 9, and knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the field. After receiving a Bachelor of Science from Davidson College in 1973, Mr. Nichols subsequently went on to earn a JD from Wake Forest University in 1977. Today, he serves as a partner and shareholder of Allen, Pinnix & Nichols, P.A.

Mr. Nichols primarily focuses his practice on administrative law, civil litigation, and labor and employment, as well as public policy development and advocacy. He represents 10 state occupational licensing boards and a number of nonprofit organizations. Admitted to the North Carolina Bar, Mr. Nichols practices before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
