Linda LaRue Austin

LindaLinda LaRue Austin has always been fond of words. Now a seasoned writer and historian, she pens fantasy and historical romance novels that are renowned for their colorful characters and intricate plot lines. Noted for her ability to set scenes and compose very human stories, Ms. Austin has utilized her writing talent in many capacities throughout her life, including as a pastor and a Stephen Minister with the Disciples of Christ Church, and writing instructor at Tarrant County College. In 2014, she announced the release of her popular seller, “Midnight Amethyst,” a tale that takes readers on a fantastical journey.

Passionate about travel, history, archaeology and photography, Ms. Austin’s inspiration for her work comes from the life she lives and enjoys. She draws from a strong academic foundation in theology and religious studies, which includes a bachelor’s degree in theology and Christian education from Northwest Christian College, as well as a Master of Religious Studies from Lexington Theological Seminary. Active with her field, Ms. Austin maintains affiliations with the Oklahoma Writers’ Federation, Inc., and Romance Writers of America.
