A highly regarded business owner in the Lima, Ohio, region, David Boyles’ passion comes down to one thing: pizza. Having worked at South Dixie Pizza Chef since he was 17 — better known by its patrons as “The Hut” — he developed a love for the food and a knack for understanding the ins and outs of running a business. Together with Bud Warwick, the Hut’s owner, he established Fat Jack’s Pizza at the young age of 21. Four decades and three locations later, the local pizzeria is known for its authentic pizza and outstandingly crafted subs, sandwiches, salads and wings. Under Mr. Boyles’ leadership, Fat Jack’s Pizza has been named Lima News’ Best of the Region Pizza for 14 years, and one of Pizza Today’s Hot 100 Independent Pizzerias for seven years.
