Mr. DuBois retired after dedicating nearly four decades of service to the U.S. Army; however, he remains professionally active. Mr. DuBois is the author of three books and the co-author of a fourth. His books, “A Lace Cap and Two Boys,” “In the Name of Church,” “A Lesser Tale of the South Pacific – Reminiscences of World War II” and “A Concise Theory of Combat,” vary between topics and display his versatility. “A Lace Cap and Two Boys,” and “In the Name of Church” are fictional stories and “A Lesser Tale of the South Pacific,” is autobiographical — detailing Mr. DuBois’ service in World War II.
