“Establishing visibow consulting, LLC, marks the beginning of a new chapter in my career endeavors,” says Dr. Mark Jordan, who has worked in education for more than 12 years. With a desire to have a positive impact on education through educational reform, he consults with professionals in the K-12 school systems, institutions of higher education and community organizations. Regarded for his many areas of expertise, Dr. Jordan demonstrates competency in curriculum development, cultural and political hegemony, social ecology and human development. He believes that it is the duty of educators to advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youths and minorities by promoting their resilience to the adversities of oppression.
