As the information technology manager for Dnata, Mariflor Ouakrim brings with her more than two decades of experience leading technical teams in complex, global environments in the ground services, financial services and air transport industries. In her current role, she oversees information technology transition strategies for the provisioning of networks, platforms, cyber security and service management. Additionally, she expertly handles workplace negotiations and supervises all of the company’s vendor partners. Regarded as a mentor, Ms. Ouakrim offers the same advice to her subordinates and professionals at every career level: “My recommendation is simple: find what you love and pursue your dreams with every ounce of your being, even when challenges seem insurmountable,” she says. These are words she lives by, as her own success has been the result of her incredible perseverance.
