Dr. Suzanne Summerville is the owner of ArtsVenture, a music publishing company that specializes in the distribution of music of 19th-century German composers. Driven by her unique passions, she also puts music to the poetry of Aldelbert von Chamisso and Adam Bert. Backed by more than two decades of diverse experience in the music industry, Dr. Summerville demonstrates her talents as a mezzosoprano singer and music producer. In her career, she has recorded three CDs and is considered a local celebrity in her town of Fairbanks, Alaska. She has also served for more than 20 years as a professor of music for the University of Alaska. Honored with a Governor’s Award for the Arts, Dr. Summerville has performed at venues across the world and has given recitals in New York’s Carnegie Hall, London’s Wigmore Hall, Leipzig’s St. Thomas Church, and other venues in the United States, Germany, Holland, Poland, France, Norway and Canada.
