Surrounded by a family of attorneys, it was a natural choice for Carl Pernicone to go into the field of law. Now with more than three decades of experience, he has built a successful career and has been noted for achieving clients’ goals, winning cases, and publishing several respected papers.
Mr. Pernicone currently serves as the co-chair of Wilson Elser’s insurance-reinsurance coverage practice. He utilizes his extensive experience with matters involving toxic tort and environmental liability claims, including property insurance claims. Additionally, he handles complicated environmental issues to assist insurers facing claims in emerging coverage areas such as climate change and clean energy technologies. Mr. Pernicone is also entrusted with cases that deal with asbestos, lead, silica and workplace chemical exposure, and emerging issues such as hydraulic fracturing. As a testament to his success, he was named among the Top Attorneys in the New York Metro Area from 2015 to 2016, and was recognized by New York Super Lawyers in 2006 and from 2009 to 2015.
