Norman Solovay’s interest in law started while he was serving in the U.S. Army more than 50 years ago. He was assigned the role of legal officer for psychological warfare, and in filling that position he discovered his interest in the field of law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Laws from Columbia Law School. Upon becoming a lawyer, he further investigated concerns about mediation quality, and his primary focus over time has been alternative dispute resolution. Along with his longtime associate, Mark J. Maged, Mr. Solovay founded Mediation + More, an umbrella organization designed to best serve disputants by engaging mediators with dispute resolution skills and extensive subject matter knowledge.
