William G. Young’s life and his work have always had one central theme: the love of family. He is the third generation to lead his family’s business, George A. Donaldson & Sons, which is a resort and campground that spans more than 700 acres on Saranac Lake in New York. With a focus on customer satisfaction and ensuring a wonderful camping experience, Mr. Young guarantees a tranquil and peaceful stay by promoting good energy and a sense of community. In addition, he ensures that the park is well-maintained and safe. The entire campsite is gated, which allows for optimal privacy without taking away from the feeling of being part of the great outdoors. Mr. Young also provides all of the necessary amenities to make his visitors’ stays convenient by operating a small store at the front of the resort that is stocked with last-minute items that folks may have forgotten to pack.
