Having spent more than 50 years in the literary world, Barbara Westergaard feels that her career has been the perfect fit. She has had a passion for reading and writing since childhood, and loves that she is able to actively engage and demonstrate her creativity through her work. Throughout the years, Ms. Westergaard has written a number of articles and authored two editions of “New Jersey: A Guide to the State.” Ms. Westergaard was born in Michigan but spent most of her life in New Jersey. She wanted to combat the negative reputation she believed New Jersey unfairly earned and thus used her books as an outlet to describe all of the wonderful and interesting things to do and see in the Garden State.
