A partner of Minter Ellison, Ian Walker is most noted for his knowledge in the areas of restructuring and insolvency law, banking and finance litigation, commercial dispute resolution, and directors’ duties. Each day, Mr. Walker is relied upon for restructuting, running court proceedings, facilitating the mediation of disputes, and advising insolvency appointees, including liquidators, receivers, administrators and deed administrators on creditors’ rights. He provides quality services to his clients from the multinational firm’s office in Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Walker possesses over three decades of experience in security enforcement for all types of creditors, banking litigation, and insolvency, restructuring and work out issues.

Mr. Walker earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne in 1978. He has since been admitted to practice within the territories of Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and High Court, as well as the Australian Capital Territory.
