With specialized skills in project management, process re-engineering, continuous improvement and capital projects, Nathalie Viens is a recognized leader in the resources industry. Since June 2015, she has served as the vice president of sustaining capital and consulting services for the global mining and metallurgy section of SNC-Lavalin, one of the leading engineering and construction groups in the world and a major player in the ownership of infrastructure. In this role, Ms. Viens leads management consulting for operational projects and assists the regional offices in growing sustaining capital projects. To do so, she incorporates technology and methodologies to ensure best practices to allow each office to grow to the same level of success. With more than 15 years of combined experience in the field, Ms. Viens attributes her success to her passion for her profession. Prior to her work with SNC Lavalin, she was a capital project service office lead for Accenture, where her main responsibility was supporting go-to-market strategy, delivering core capital project and system implementation, and outsourcing business processes. Described by her peers as bright and reliable, Ms. Viens is known to never back down from a challenge and for always going the extra mile to deliver completed projects on time.
