An award-winning physician, Dr. E. Thomas Arne Jr. has been serving patients in areas of internal medicine, preventative medicine and continued cardiovascular care for more than 22 years. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and he is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His extensive training has earned him ranking among the most experienced cardiologists in heart failure management in the Sarasota, Fla., area. Dr. Arne is actively involved in clinical research and also specializes in the early detection and prevention of potential heart problems. Further, he is one of the few cardiologists in the area with Level II training in multidetector cardiac CAT scan angiography. Today, he heads up Gulfshore Personalized Care, a concierge medical care center. The practice offers a wide variety of testing customized to fit a patient’s individual needs, including cardiovascular testing, EKG, Bio Z, PT/INR finger sticks for Coumadin monitoring, Holter monitoring, defibrillator and pacemaker checks, phlebotomy, vaccinations, body composition testing, and hospital services. Dr. Arne has privileges at both Sarasota Memorial and Doctors Hospital, and is therefore able to meet many inpatient needs.
